Product Care
How to take care of your Silver
When you buy our 925 sterling silver you might be wondering, How do I take care of it? Well it's pretty easy. There's not much to do. Our silver is italian grade 925. You can shower with it, get it wet, roll around in mud, go hiking, go skydiving, throw it in a pond, throw it in the ocean (you might not be able to find it after you do), wash your hands or simply just wear it daily. It won't make your skin green and the color won't fade. Silver does get dirty though just as much as any other product and we recommend using the proper product. So here are some ways to clean your silver.
- Use silver dip cleaner. One of the best ways to get that "new" look is to just use proper silver cleaning acid. Throw it in for a couple seconds and wash it off after using warm water and maybe soap if you want a clean smell as well. Boom, like new.
- Use a 100% cotton cloth. Simply place the silver in your hands using a cotton cloth and wipe the dirt/tarnish away. Continue to wipe away until desired results are shown.
- Soap and Water. Sometimes the best method is to just use simple soap and water just like you'd use on your own skin.
How to take care of your Stainless Steel
Stainless steel is one of the best long lasting materials used in jewelry. More people are coming around daily to Stainless Steel and there's a reason why. It's durable, it's low maintenance, and it just looks amazing! Stainless Steel doesn't tarnish or get's as dirty as other precious metals. If you want to know how to take care of your new piece, here's how.
- Simple dish soap and warm water go a long way.
- Use a toothbrush. Sometimes there's hard places you just can't reach with your fingers so using a soft bristle toothbrush can get in those tough spots.
- Wipe it down. Wiping down your stainless steel jewelry using a microfiber towel is great way to remove daily grime and oils to keep it looking nice and clean.
- Store it in soft pouches. The best way to prevent scratching is by storing it in a nice soft pouch or box.
*304L Stainless Steel products. We don't recommend putting 304L products in salt waters for long periods of time. Can cause some tarnishing if left uncared for.
